Jacques Soenens
Jacques Soenens is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Great Gable Investments, LLC. Jacques is responsible for managing the family of funds and advising to the wealth advisor clients.
Jacques has spent the past 25 years researching and investing in both the public and private market arena, across sectors and through varying economic cycles, for institutional, family office and high net worth investors. Following his experience at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and Prudential Securities in New York, Jacques co-founded Osmium Partners, LLC in San Francisco before founding Great Gable in 2005. Great Gable’s mission is to protect and grow clients assets while bringing together diverse ideas, perspectives and talents.
Jacques was raised in both Europe and the United States. Jacques earned his B.S.M in 1993 from Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business. He is frequently invited to his alma mater to present to students about the capital markets and alternative investing. Jacques serves on several boards of private companies as well as the California Tennis Club in San Francisco.
Jacques and his family live in Mill Valley, CA and spend much time outdoors and playing tennis and basketball. Jacques has enjoyed volunteering as a youth coach for his children’s sports teams and is an avid amateur photographer.
Amir Navab
Amir Navab is a Managing Partner and Wealth Advisor of Great Gable Advisors, LLC. Amir is responsible for leading the firm’s Wealth Advisory initiative and working hand-in-hand with families to develop tailored solutions to protect and grow their wealth.
Amir Navab has served the needs of families for over 25 years while previously working at Smith Barney, UBS, Morgan Stanley and most recently, as a Principal of the PNF Group at RBC Wealth Management. As a fiduciary, Amir advises high net worth families across all aspects of their complex financial lives.
After growing up in London, England and attending the American School in London, he graduated from Claremont Mckenna College (CMC) in California, with a BA in Economics and International Relations. Amir was a dual sport athlete, competing on both CMC’s soccer and tennis teams. While Amir has since hung up his soccer cleats, he continues to compete actively on the tennis courts.
Amir, his wife Yasmin and their two daughters live in Beverly Glen area of Los Angeles. On weekends, Amir and Yasmin often attend their daughters gymnastics and figure skating competition.
Rabia Khan
Director of Business Operations
Rabia Khan is Great Gable’s Director of Business Operations. Rabia is responsible for the day to day operations at Great Gable, ensuring clients receive the best experience across the portfolio of assets and wealth management services.
Prior to joining Great Gable, Rabia worked at Baker Avenue, a wealth management firm, where she was responsible for managing client relationships, streamlining business development efforts, and establishing client service processes and workflows.
Rabia, her husband Bilal, their daughter and trusted German Shepard live in South San Francisco. Rabia volunteers as a language interpreter at the Asian Women Shelter and Give Light Foundation.
